The CanDo® ABS Inflatable Exercise Ball is a heavy-duty therapy and fitness ball designed for physical therapy, rehabilitation, balance training, core strengthening, vestibular therapy, and conditioning programs. Its extra-thick construction provides increased durability and a higher weight capacity than the standard CanDo® inflatable exercise ball.
The ABS ball is manufactured from specially formulated material designed to release air slowly if accidentally punctured by a sharp object, rather than rapidly losing air. This slow-air-release system is effective up to a 280 lb. user load, while the ball itself carries a maximum stated weight capacity of 600 lbs.
Like the standard series, each ABS exercise ball features a ribbed, non-slip PVC vinyl surface and may be slightly under-inflated for a softer feel or fully inflated for a firmer exercise surface. Cornish Medical offers the ABS series in five color-coded diameters from 45 cm through 85 cm.
