The Richmar TheraTouch® SW1 is an advanced radial pressure wave (shockwave) therapy device designed to deliver targeted, non-invasive treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. As Richmar’s first radial pressure wave system, the SW1 uses controlled bursts of high-energy mechanical pressure to stimulate soft tissue, enhance circulation, and support pain relief and healing.

Through an ergonomic handpiece and interchangeable applicators, radial pressure waves penetrate up to 35mm deep into the tissue, activating cellular repair and improving blood flow. Shockwave therapy has been shown to help reduce muscle pain, support tissue regeneration, and accelerate recovery from overuse injuries, tendinopathies, and other soft-tissue conditions.

Intuitive Design and Clinical Versatility

The TheraTouch SW1 features a simple, intuitive touchscreen interface for quick operation and streamlined workflows. Preloaded with 11 body-part-specific protocols, the SW1’s programs are developed in alignment with ISMST (International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment) guidelines and backed by clinical testing.

For full customization, clinicians can also select Manual Mode to adjust frequency, energy level, and applicator type—then save personalized treatments to a convenient Favorites List. The portable design, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and sleek carrying case make the SW1 ideal for both in-clinic and on-the-go treatments.
