Warranty & Maintenance

The Chattanooga Intelect® RPW 2 includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty on the main unit. The Falcon® handpiece is covered for 2 years or 3 million shocks, whichever occurs first, and shock transmitters are covered for 1 year or 1 million shocks, whichever occurs first. Warranty coverage is subject to manufacturer terms and exclusions, and damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repair is generally not covered.

To help maximize performance and longevity, proper routine maintenance is recommended. Manufacturer service guidance indicates the Falcon® handpiece should be overhauled around every 1 million shocks, and regular cleaning and drying of the handpiece components, including the transmitters and projectile, is important for long-term reliability.
